About Aubrey

Aubrey McMahon

Aubrey has been involved in selecting and securing successful horses to date including the likes of Whiskey Sour & Uradel. He organised a syndicate which campaigned the ill fated 'Eurotiep' who Aubrey partnered to 3 wins from his 6 races.

Temple Bloodstock is headed by Aubrey McMahon, who has 10 years experience in the racing industry.

At the age of fifteen, Aubrey spent his first summer working for Champion trainer Willie Mullins.

Aubrey has extensive experience as an exercise rider and as an amateur jockey and has ridden winners for some of Ireland’s top trainers including Champion trainer Willie Mullins, Ted Walsh, Gordon Elliott and Enda Bolger.  His most notable victories were aboard ‘Whiskey Sour’ and ‘Uradel’ to win back to back Connacht Hotel Amateur Handicaps at the Galway Festival in 2017 & 2018 for Champion trainer Willie Mullins.

Buoyed by the success of Grade 1-winning Cilaos Emery, Whiskey Sour and Cheltenham Coral Cup winner Bleu Berry, Aubrey hopes to bring everyone that wants to get involved in racehorse ownership on the same successful path he has enjoyed both in and out of the saddle – whether it’s getting involved in a syndicate or purchasing a horse for a small group and helping  guide them through the process.

"Throughout my riding career, I've always had a keen interest in the bloodstock side of the industry. We have started sourcing some nice horses who we have high hopes for. Through Temple Bloodstock, I hope to welcome some new faces to racehorse ownership and have them share in the success.”
