I am delighted to have purchased ‘Goldoni’ on behalf of Temple Bloodstock to go into training with champion trainer Willie Mullins.

 

This horse came highly recommended from his trainer in France who described him as a “very tough and genuine horse” with a great pedigree. He is a lovely looking horse and with a flat rating of 82. He looks a nice type to mix it in both codes, over hurdles and on the flat. He is the type of horse Willie does exceptionally well with. He has only had 7 runs in France, a winner two starts ago at Saint Cloud before a very likeable 5th at Parislongchamp recently. It is also worth noting his half brother, “Gaudino” by the sire Authorised, made £170,000 after winning a 4yo maiden and is in training with Ben Pauling. Temple Bloodstock’s first horse Goldoni has been gelded since his last run in France. He will go to Jason Titley for recovery and pre-training for a number of weeks before heading to Willie Mullins Cloutton yard.”
